Once Dr. Davidson determines your needs, he creates a full mouth reconstruction treatment plan. Usually, that includes a series of at least two appointments spaced several weeks apart. If you elect to get All-On-4 implants, the process takes anywhere between six months and a year. That’s because it takes several months for the implants to integrate with your jawbone.  

How do I maintain the results of my full mouth reconstruction?

To maintain the results of your full mouth reconstruction, it’s important to practice good oral hygiene. Dr. Davidson recommends brushing and flossing twice daily and visiting the office every six months for an oral exam and professional teeth cleaning.

To protect your restorations, wear a mouthguard when playing sports and avoid bad habits like biting your nails, chewing on ice cubes, or opening packaging with your teeth. By adhering to these guidelines, it’s possible to maintain your restorations for 10-15 years and sometimes even longer.
